Ozarks Struggles Against Concordia-Austin

Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles opened their American Southwest Conference season on the road with a loss to Concordia-Austin on Saturday.

Ozarks (0-3, 0-1) couldn’t climb back from a 45-21 halftime deficit in their 90-61 loss to the Tornados (1-0, 1-0). It was the highest scoring output of the season for the Lady Eagles. Freshman center Olivia Fisher made the most of her first collegiate start by scoring 25 points and grabbing 5 rebounds. Fisher shot 12-of-17 (70%) from the field while collecting 5 steals. Erica Eneks followed Fisher in the scoring column with 15 points. Ozarks travels to Belton, Texas, on Nov. 29 to take on Mary Hardin-Baylor in American Southwest Conference action.
