Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles begin American Southwest Conference East Division action this week on the road.

Ozarks plays East Texas Baptist on January 16 in Marshall, Texas and then travels to Longview, Texas to play LeTourneau University on January 18. Games can be heard on KXIO-106.9 radio. The Lady Eagles (6-7) won two of three games over the week. The Lady Eagles dropped a 73-51 decision to the Texas Lutheran Lady Bulldogs. The Lady Eagles shot just 27 percent in the game and were outscored 44-25 in the first half. Junior forward Jenna Corbell scored 15 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to lead Ozarks. The Lady Eagles picked up a 59-40 victory over Schreiner University on January 9 in Kerrville, Texas. After leading 28-21 at intermission, the Lady Eagles turned it up a notch in the second half, outscoring their opponent 31-19 in the final twenty minutes of the game. Schreiner would tie the game at 30-30 at the 13:05 mark of the second half, but the Lady Eagles went on a 23-4 run within a span of eight minutes to put away Schreiner. Senior guard Kristy Watts scored 15 points on 6 of 12 shooting from the field. Freshman forward Mandi Carter had a team-best 7 rebounds. Carter added 12 points and nine rebounds. The Lady Eagles shot just 33 percent from the field, but forced the Lady Lobos into 22 turnovers.
