Ozarks Runs In Memphis Twilight

Clarksville, Ark.-The men's and women's cross country ran in the Memphis Twilight in Memphis, Tenn., over the weekend.

The meet had teams from NCAA I, NCAA II and NCAA III levels.<#IMAGE:1#> In the men’s division, Kyle Jones finished as Ozarks top runner with a time of 30:47. Jones’ time placed him 168th . The Eagles finished 24th at the 8K meet. On the women’s side, Karen Garcia was again Ozarks top finisher after running a personal-best 21:46. That time also ranks her as having the third fastest women’s time in Ozarks’ history. Garcia’s time placed her 121st in the 5K. The junior from Wickes, Ark., helped the Lady Eagles finish 22nd at the meet. Amanda Stang ran a personal-best 22:51. Ozarks will travel to Jackson, Tennessee, to run in the Lambuth University Invitational on October 17.
