Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles defeated Concordia-Austin 3-0 in American Southwest Conference play on Saturday in Austin, Texas, and have clinched a spot in the ASC post-season championship tournament.
The Eagles (11-2-4, 7-1-3) can host the six-team tournament with a pair of wins against their remaining regular season matches. Ozarks hosts Texas Lutheran University on October 28 and Schreiner University on October 29. ????? Ron Hogsett, Chris Estep and Chad Stauffer each scored a goal to put away Concordia-Austin (2-11-0, 1-10-0) early in the contest. All three goals were scored in the first half. Malcolm Williams recorded the assist on Estep’s score and Hogsett recorded the assist on Stauffer’s goal. ????? Ozarks out shot the Tornadoes 15-6. Ozarks goalkeeper Jeffrey Enevoldsen had one save. ????? Ozarks will host Central Bible College on Tuesday in a non-conference match. ????? The ASC post-season championship tournament will be held November 4-6.
