Clarksville, Ark.-Olivia Fisher was named the American Southwest Conference East Division women's tennis Player of the Week after posting a pair of wins in an ASC East match last week.
<#IMAGE:1#>The junior from Mountain Home helped the Lady Eagles secure an ASC tournament berth with wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles against Texas-Dallas on April 15. Fisher, who has won three straight ASC singles matches, defeated her opponent 7-6 (7-4), 6-3. She then teamed with Lea Rana to earn an 8-6 doubles win. Fisher owns a 5-5 singles record. It is the second time in her career she has earned tennis Player of the Week honors. The Lady Eagles will host Oklahoma Wesleyan April 20 before heading to Abilene, Texas, to the ASC championship tournament April 26-28.
