Clarksville, Ark.--Olivia Fisher was named the American Southwest Conference East division women's tennis Player of the Week after posting a 4-0 record in a pair of ASC East matches over the week.
Fisher, a freshman from Mountain Home, defeated Austin College’s Nicole Gutierrez 6-4, 6-3 on April 1and UT-Dallas’ Kailey Sladek 6-0, 6-2 on April 2. Fisher then teamed with Taylor Emanuelson for back-to-back 8-1 doubles victories. The Lady Eagles and Eagles will host UT-Tyler on April 9 at 3:00 p.m. in ASC play.
