Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles made just three field goals in the first half and couldn't recover in the second half as No. 25 UT-Dallas took a 70-56 win in American Southwest Conference action Monday night.

Ozarks (5-17, 3-14) shot a dismal 3-of-24 (12%) from the field and were out rebounded 26-17 in the first half. Oddly enough, UT-Dallas (19-3, 16-1) held just a 28-18 lead with 5:43 left in the half. The Comets, however, finished the final five minutes with a 13-3 run. Ozarks turned up the pressure in the second half and trimmed the lead to 62-51 on a Danielle Froggatt layup at the 6:51 mark. The Comets quickly answered and put the lead back to 68-51 two minutes later. The Lady Eagles shot a much improved 14-of-28 from the field in the second half and outscored the visitors 35-28. UT-Dallas had a number of second chance points as they held a 45-27 rebounding edge in the game.

Lacey Phillips scored 15 points in the game, hitting 6-of-12 from the floor. Olivia Fisher added 11 points.
