Clarksville, Ark.-Curt Dixon and Todd Koch gave No. 17 Ozarks strong performances on the mound as the Eagles took both games of an American Southwest Conference double-header against Louisiana College on Saturday.
Dixon went six innings and yielded two runs in six innings of work helping the Eagles to a 6-2 win in game one. Dixon improved his record to 6-1 on the year. Ozarks (25-6, 11-3) scored one run in the first, third, fourth and fifth innings to lead 4-2 going into the sixth. Ozarks padded their advantage in the top of the sixth behind a Cory Briggs RBI single and a Robby Finnell RBI triple. Bruce Cameron hit his seventh homer of the season in the third.
