No. 1 Howard Payne Too Much For Lady Eagles

Clarksville, Ark.-No. 1-ranked Howard Payne handed the Lady Eagles a 88-24 loss in American Southwest Conference play on Saturday in Brownwood, Texas.

Ozarks (0-4, 0-2) hit only three field goals in the first half to trail 48-6 and could never recover as the NCAA III No. 1-ranked Lady Jackets (4-0, 2-0) forced 34 turnovers. Ozarks never went to the free throw line in the game and were out rebounded 47-22.

Olivia Fisher led Ozarks with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Erica Eneks had 10 points.

The Lady Eagles will travel to Arkadelphia to face NCAA II Henderson State University on December 5.
