Ms. Becky Jones to Speak at SIFE/PBL Series

Clarksville, Ark. ? Ms. Becky Jones will be the featured speaker for the SIFE and PBL Distinguished Speaker Series, scheduled for Friday, October 15 at 11:00 am in the Baldor Auditorium on the University of the Ozarks campus.

Ms. Becky Jones, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Merchandising for Hibbett Sporting Goods, Inc. will be the featured speaker for the SIFE/PBL Distinguised Speaker Series.

Ms. Jones is currently Senior Vice President of Marketing and Merchandising for Hibbett Sporting Goods, Inc, a chain of sporting goods stores over with over 775 stores in 26 states. Her presentation, entitled “Career Pathing: How Do You Know You Made The Right Choice?” will focus on the choices students will face as they make their way into the business world.

A graduate of Clarksville High School and Arkansas Tech University, Ms. Jones has more than thirty-two years of retail experience. She has served as Vice President with Jo Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, Inc., Wal-Mart Stores, Inc, and Fred Meyer, Inc. She is a member of the National Sporting Goods Association, and formerly served on the board of the Craft and Hobby Association.

The SIFE and PBL Distinguished Speaker Series brings outstanding business leaders to the Ozarks campus to share business information and comments.  In the past, speakers have addressed topics related to business ethics, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, success skills, and/or market economics.  Previous speakers have included Mr. Joe Allbright (Wal-Mart), Mr. John Meyer (ACXIOM), and Mr. Christopher Stemen (ARAMARK).
