Clarksville, Ark.-Mississippi College took 22 shots and made 10 of them as the Lady Choctaws took a 10-1 win over Ozarks Thursday in American Southwest Conference play.
The Choctaws (13-3-1, 9-2-0 ASC) overwhelmed the Lady Eagles (1-16-0, 1-10-0 ASC) early in the match and held a 4-0 lead after twenty minutes of play. Ozarks got a goal from freshman Erin Summerton in the 31st minute off a corner kick. Summerton netted the header from Monica Seiler. Mississippi College would add five more goals in the second half off 14 shots.
Ozarks will play its final match of the season Saturday against Louisiana College. Senior Morgan O’Neil will be honored following the match as part of “Senior Day”.
