The Department of Education announced a further delay to release batches of FAFSA information (ISIRs) to schools until the first half of March.

Mississippi College Hands Lady Eagles 2-0 Loss

Clarksville, Ark.-The Mississippi College Lady Choctaws scored a goal in each half en route to a 2-0 win over the Lady Eagles on Thursday in American Southwest Conference play.

Mississippi College’s Hollye Henderson scored in the 29th minute on a pass from Lesly Melo. The Choctaws went into the half with a 1-0 lead behind eight shots. Mississippi College got another goal, this one coming in the 72nd minute, to make it 2-0. Ozarks’ offense got all three of their shots in the second half but couldn’t connect.
    
Kristi Gordon had a pair of shots on goal for Ozarks.
    
Mississippi College improves to 8-1-0 and 3-0-0 in ASC play. Ozarks falls to 2-6-0 and 0-2-0.
   
Ozarks will host Louisiana College September 27.

Game notes:
-Ozarks goalkeeper Lori Langman had 7 saves, giving her 45 for the season, just 15 from her total of 60 last season.
-Ozarks is 2-14-0 against Mississippi College all-time.
-The Lady Eagles have totaled more shots in the second half (31) than in the first half (27) this season.
-Ozarks has went scoreless in seven of their matches this season.
