Clarksville, Ark.-The men's tennis team defeated Oklahoma Wesleyan University, 4-3, March 16 in Clarksville and improve their overall record to 4-2.
Picking up singles victories were Zach Schiff (7-6, 6-4), Lee Short (7-6, 7-3, 7-5), Paul Northcutt (6-0, 6-1) and Shane Newman (6-3, 6-1). In doubles action, Short and Pillar gained a 9-8 (7-3) win. The Eagles currently own a 1-1 league record. The Eagles will host Austin College on April 1 at 2:00 p.m. in American Southwest Conference play.
