<#IMAGE:1#>Ozarks (13-5-1, 10-3-0) will make their seventh straight ASC playoff appearance, and will receive a first-round bye. Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas, will host the men’s tournament held November 3-5. “We always look for consistency in our program, and being in the playoffs is one thing we are proud of,” said head coach Dave De Hart. “I think the tournament is wide-open this year. We did feel like the first-round bye was critical for us having a chance to win. It is really difficult to win three tournament games in a row.” The Eagles will not know who their opponent is until Friday. “Our preparation this week will be working on our strengths and defining what we do,” said De Hart. “The playoffs will be a new experience for some of our guys. We have several young kids that will make significant contributions that will be in new situations.” 2006 ASC MEN’S SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE -Hosted by Schreiner University, Kerrville, Texas- Friday, November 3 (Quarterfinals) Game 1: #4 Mississippi College (13-4-2) vs. #5 Texas-Dallas (12-6-0), 11:00 Game 2: #6 Mary Hardin-Baylor (10-8-1) vs. #3 Hardin-Simmons (12-5-0), 2:00 Saturday, November 4 (Semifinals) Game 3: #1 Schreiner (12-4-1) vs. Winner Game 1, 11:00 Game 4: #2 Ozarks (13-5-1) vs. Winner Game 2, 2:00 Sunday, November 5 (Finals) Game 5 (Championship): Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4, 1:00 The winner of the ASC Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament is the ASC Champion and earns the conference’s automatic berth in the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Championship.
