Clarksville, Ark.-Nine regular season home matches and one home exhibition match highlight the fall 2011 University of the Ozarks men's soccer schedule.
The Eagles will play a pair of exhibition matches in August and then open regular season play with four consecutive non-conference matches in September. Ozarks will travel to Siloam Springs to face NAIA John Brown University in an exhibition match August 20. The Eagles will then host NCAA II Harding University in another exhibition match August 27 at 4:00 pm. The Eagles open regular season play in Memphis against Millsaps College and Rhodes College September 3-4. Ozarks opens ASC play against Louisiana College September 15 in Pineville.
Last season, head coach John Cossaboon’s team was picked fourth in the American Southwest Conference preseason poll, but a rash of injuries forced the Eagles to miss the playoffs. Ozarks, which finished 5-12-0 overall and 4-9-0 in the ASC, returns a solid senior class and have a number of talented young players for 2011.
