Men’s Basketball Team Drops 87-66 Decision East Texas Baptist

Clarksville, Ark.-East Texas Baptist used a 53-35 halftime advantage in route to a 87-66 win over the University of the Ozarks men's basketball team on Thursday night in American Southwest Conference play.

The Tigers (14-11, 14-8) hit 58 percent of their shots in the first half and held a double digit lead for the latter part of the half and then held a twenty point lead over the Eagles (14-10, 14-7) for most of the second half. Ozarks couldn’t get any closer than 17 points in the second half. Ozarks suffered from 26 turnovers in the game. Habeeb Kareem led the team with 20 points and 7 rebounds. He hit 10-of-13 from the free throw line.
