Men Finish Third At Rhodes College Invitational

Clarksville, Ark.-The men's cross country finished third at the Rhodes College Invitational Saturday in Memphis, Tennessee.

The Eagles topped American Southwest Conference foe Mississippi College, but finished just behind UT-Tyler and host institution Rhodes College in the 8K race. Ozarks placed a pair of runners in the top-10. Tristan Cooper and David James were Ozarks’ top runners on Saturday, running a 26:46 and 26:52, respectively. The duo finished 7th and 10th out of 125 runners. Rhodes College also took the women’s race with 24 points. Samantha Sparks was the top finisher for the Lady Eagles, running a 26:56 in the 6K. She was 59th out of 94 participants.
