Mary Hardin-Baylor’s Men Win Rain-Shortened Match

Belton, Texas-University of Mary Hardin-Baylor pitched a 4-0 shutout against the Eagles in American Southwest Conference men?s soccer action Saturday.

Mary Hardin-Baylor (8-3-1, 6-1-1 ASC) scored twice in the first half and then added two more goals in the second half before the match was cancelled due to heavy rain in the 75th minute. The Crusaders scored in the 7th minute and the 20th minute in the first half. Ozarks (3-8-1, 3-6-0 ASC) had trouble creating any offense in the first half as it did not record a shot. The Crusaders had back-to-back goals within a two-minute span in the second half to put the match out of reach.

Matt Mouer recorded four saves.

Ozarks will host UT-Dallas October 20.
