The Department of Education announced a further delay to release batches of FAFSA information (ISIRs) to schools until the first half of March.

Marlow, Oatis named division chairs

University of the Ozarks Professor of Communication Dr. Greta Marlow and Professor of History Dr. Steve Oatis have been named division chairs, University officials announced Wednesday. Both appointments are effective immediately.

Marlow will serve as division chair for Business, Communications and Government. Oatis will serve as chair of the Division of Humanities and Fine Arts.

"It is a great pleasure to welcome both Dr. Marlow and Dr. Oatis to the academic leadership team," said Ozarks Provost Dr. Travis Feezell. "Both have served the institution for a number of years and I will be certain to call upon their vast experience and knowledge as we continue to build a distinctive and impactful academic program."

Dr. Greta Marlow" src=Marlow, an alumna of Ozarks who earned her Ph.D. from the University of Kansas, has taught at Ozarks since 1991. She leads the University’s strategic communication major.

Dr. Steve Oatis" src=Oatis, who earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont and his Ph.D. from Emory University, has taught history at Ozarks since 1999.
