Clarksville, Ark.-Marisa Maldonado's goal in the 18th minute proved to be the game-winner as the Lady Eagles handed Schreiner a 1-0 defeat in American Southwest Conference action Saturday.
Ozarks (6-9-0, 4-5-0) fired off six shots in the first half, but none more important than the strike that Maldonado hit in the 18th minute. It was Maldonado’s second goal of the season and her first game-winner of the season. Kristi Gordon had a team-best three shots. Ozarks held Schreiner (0-13-0, 0-9-0) to just one shot.
