Louisiana College Gives Ozarks 80-61 Loss

Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks dropped a 80-61 decision to Louisiana College in American Southwest Conference basketball action at Saturday afternoon's Hall of Fame game.

Louisiana College (13-8, 12-6) used a run-n-gun offensive style to upend Ozarks (2-18, 2-15) while continuing in their quest to win the East Division. The Lady Wildcats held a 38-24 lead at halftime and went on in the second half to hold a double-digit lead for most of the half. Louisiana College shot a solid 51 percent from the floor in the game while holding the Lady Eagles to a 33 percent shooting clip in the contest. Olivia Fisher scored 14 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in the loss. Erica Eneks added 11 points and Lori Moon contributed 12 points. Ozarks will travel to Sherman, Texas, this Monday to face Austin College.
