Louisiana College Finds Shooting Touch

Clarksville, Ark.-Ozarks suffered a 88-66 loss to Louisiana College (11-8, 10-6) in Pineville, Louisiana.

Louisiana College went on a 19-6 run over a five-minute span at the mid-way point of the second half to gain a win that put them in second place in the league standings. The Lady Eagles (2-16, 2-13) were plagued by 24 turnovers in the contest and were out rebounded 47-36. Ozarks trailed 45-36 at halftime, but chiseled the deficit to 55-51 with 12:43 remaining in the game. At that point, the Lady Wildcats out scored Ozarks 33-15 to finish the game. Erica Eneks had her second double-double of the season, scoring a team-high 16 points and grabbing a team-high 10 rebounds. Lori Moon added 14 points. Ozarks will host Mississippi College on February 3 and Louisiana College on February 5. Saturday’s game against Louisiana College is designated as U of O’s Hall of Fame game.
