Local PBL chapter celebrates national FBLA-PBL Week

The University of the Ozarks' chapter of Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) recently celebrated the week of Feb. 10-16 in conjunction with national FBLA-PBL Week.

As part of the activities, Johnson County Judge Mike Jacobs (center) signed a proclamation designating Feb. 10-16, 2013, as FBLA-PBL Week in Johnson County. Those who attended the signing included U of O PBL President Julie Petz and PBL Treasurer and State Parliamentarian Eddwing Madrigal.

FBLA-PBL Week is an opportunity for local chapters to publicize their activities and successes, boost their membership, and gear up for their spring activities. Among the events the U of O PBL chapter sponsored last week were, Team Tuesday, Dress to Win Wednesday and Community Service Day.
