Clarksville, Ark.--Senior forward Lindy Swatzell was named American Southwest Conference Women's Soccer co-Offensive Player of the Week after scoring seven goals and adding an assist for 15 points in the Lady Eagles' 1-1-0 conference-opening weekend.
Swatzell, a 5-4 native of Westwood, Kansas, opened with five goals, one assist and a school record-tying nine shots in the Lady Eagles 8-3 win over LeTourneau on Friday, then posted two goals in their 4-3 overtime loss to East Texas Baptist on Saturday. Swatzell holds numerous school records at Ozarks including career goals (29), points (62) and shots (222). The three-time All-Conference performer also holds school single-match marks in points (14) and goals (6). She led Shawnee Mission East High School to a state championship her sophomore and junior years.
