LeTourneau Women Net Game-Winner In 83rd Minute

Clarksville, Ark.-LeTourneau University scored the game-winning goal in the 83rd minute to seal a 2-1 win over the Lady Eagles Saturday in American Southwest Conference play.

LeTourneau (1-11-0, 1-4-0 ASC) trailed 1-0, but scored two unanswered goals for its first win of the season. MaKenna Piha scored for Ozarks (1-11-0, 1-6-0 ASC) in the 51st minute on a free kick from 35 yards out. Piha looped it perfectly in the box past LeTourneau goalkeeper Nicole Kemper. Despite a 4-2 shots advantage in the second half, Ozarks scored only once. Meanwhile, LeTourneau made both of its shots count.

Ozarks totaled five shots on goal.

Mary Eoff had two saves for Ozarks in goal.
