LeTourneau Men Complete Comeback In ASC Tennis Action

Clarksville, Ark.-The men?s tennis team had LeTourneau University where it wanted, but the Eagles lost momentum in the lower half of singles action and suffered a disappointing 5-4 setback Saturday in American Southwest Conference play.

LeTourneau University, ranked No. 17 in the region, was down 2-1 after doubles play and then fell behind 4-1 after No. 1 and No. 2 singles action. The Eagles, ranked No. 16 in the region, opened the day with wins from Todd Turner and Bishop Bass at No. 1 doubles and Corey Dillard and Greg Knaggs at No. 2 doubles. Turner and Bass fought for a 9-8 victory, while Dillard and Knaggs won 8-2.
