Clarksville, Ark.-LeTourneau University used a second half comeback to secure a 76-64 win over the University of the Ozarks men's basketball team on Saturday afternoon in American Southwest Conference play.

The Eagles (14-11, 14-8) held an 28-27 advantage at halftime, but couldn’t hold onto the lead as the YellowJackets (8-17, 7-15) hit 50 percent of their shots from the field, including 5-of-10 from beyond the three-point line, in the second half. Ozarks was within 48-43 with 10:13 remaining after a Chris Williams layup, but LeTourneau quickly erased any thought of an Ozarks’ comeback when they expanded their lead to double digit just four minutes later. Habeeb Kareem paced Ozarks with 27 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the field. He also led the team with 9 rebounds. The Eagles will face McMurry University on February 24 in Brownwood, Texas, in the American Southwest Conference championship tournament. The teams square off at 2:00 p.m.
