Clarksville, Ark.-LeTourneau University out scored the Lady Eagles 36-26 in the second half to go on to a 70-60 win Thursday in American Southwest Conference play.
The game was tied 34-34 at intermission, but LeTourneau (5-19, 4-15) used a 16-4 run to open the second half to go up 52-38. From there, Ozarks (5-19, 3-16) made a run of their own and cut it to 55-49 with 8:24 left. The Lady Eagles narrowed the gap to five points three times, the final coming with 4:21 remaining. However, Ozarks scored just one more basket the rest of the way, while LeTourneau scored seven straight points.
Olivia Fisher had a big night, scoring 14 points and pulling down 14 rebounds. Fisher scored her 1,000 career point in the loss. She has also grabbed over 800 career rebounds. Alison Villines added 12 points.
Ozarks will end the season in Marshall, Texas, February 21 when they face East Texas Baptist University.
