Clarksville, Ark.-LeTourneau University cruised to a 7-1 win over the Eagles Sunday in American Southwest Conference action.

LeTourneau (7-13, 3-6 ASC) jumped out to a 3-0 lead after one behind a two-run homer by Josh Brown. Ozarks (12-15, 6-6 ASC) made it 3-1 in the third on an Andrew Teaster RBI double. But things quickly turned sour for the Eagles. In the bottom of the fourth, Ozarks committed three costly errors, allowing the YellowJackets to tack on three runs. The Eagles’ offense stalled too as they recorded only four hits after that troublesome fourth.

Bruce Cameron (2-3) suffered the loss. He went seven innings, allowed eight hits and struck out four. John Scheuring tossed one inning and fanned two during that span.

Teaster and Cameron each had two hits.

The Eagles will travel to Batesville to face Lyon College March 31 and then host Louisiana College in a three-game series April 3 and April 4. Saturday’s double-header can be heard on KXIO 106.9 FM and on the web at www.kxio.nu. All six seniors will be recognized before the first pitch at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.
