Clarksville, Ark.-Hendrix College went on a 10-0 run in the final four minutes of the first half to hold a 47-30 halftime lead to go on to a 84-67 victory over the Lady Eagles in non-conference play on Saturday.
Ozarks (0-6, 0-2) will host Schreiner University on December 15 at 1:00 p.m. in an American Southwest Conference tilt.
Ozarks trailed 33-27 after Erica Eneks hit a jumper with 4:23 left in the first half, but from that point, the Lady Eagles would record only one more field goal in the half. Ally Goddard nailed a three-pointer with 3:43 left to cut the deficit to 37-30. However, Hendrix (5-1) then went on a 10-0 spurt to gain the game’s momentum and a 17-point halftime advantage. Hendrix then went on to hold a double-digit lead for the remainder of the game. Ozarks hit five three-pointers in the second half.
Eneks led Ozarks with 23 points. Kayla Quertermous reached double figures for Ozarks, scoring 11 points. She hit 3-of-6 three-pointers.
