Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles defeated College of the Ozarks 92-86 in their home opener on November 22.
Ozarks used a strong first half performance by Jenna Corbell to jump out to a 51-33 halftime lead. Corbell, a junior forward from Ashdown, scored 19 of her career high 34 points in the first half. Corbell was 14 of 26 from the field and grabbed 15 rebounds and dished out seven assists. Senior guard Kristy Watts scored 20 points and junior guard Tiffany Villines had 15 points in her Ozarks debut. Freshman post Mandi Carter had 14 points and 8 rebounds in her first collegiate game.
