Lady Eagles Win Big Over Schreiner

Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks women's soccer team recorded a 4-2 win over Schreiner University on Friday afternoon in American Southwest Conference in Kerrville, Texas.

Ozarks (7-7-2, 4-6-0) got goals from Heather Dryden and Amanda Bohon in the first half. Dryden scored in the 12th minute on an assist from Laura Spruiell. Bohon collected her goal in the 40th minute. The Lady Eagles powered in two more goals in the second half. Spruiell scored in the 53rd minute on an assist from Dryden. Kristyn Shinn scored in the 82nd minute. Spruiell received the assist. Ozarks goalkeeper Olivia Fisher had 6 saves. The win breaks the program’s record in wins (7). The previous record of 6 wins was set in 1998 and again in 1999. Ozarks will face Texas Lutheran University tomorrow.
