Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles couldn't hang on to a 1-0 halftime lead as Texas Lutheran University stormed back to take a 2-1 win on Sunday in American Southwest Conference play.

Ozarks (5-6-4, 4-6-1) Jessalyn Halsted scored in the 35th minute on a header off a corner to put Ozarks up 1-0, but Texas Lutheran answered with a pair of second half goals to seal the match. Ozarks nearly made it 2-0 in the 53rd minute when Heather Dryden had a quality shot, but Texas Lutheran’s keeper deflected the ball into the crossbar and out of the goal.

The Lady Bulldogs (10-5-1, 8-2-1) eventually tied the game in the 66th minute, and then provided the game-winner in the 89th minute on a penalty kick.

The Lady Eagles had five shots, while Texas Lutheran tallied 12. Halsted had a team-high three. Kristi Gordon had the lone assist for Ozarks. Lori Langman had six saves in goal for Ozarks.
