Clarksville, Ark.-NCAA I UA-Pine Bluff picked up a dominating 9-0 victory over the Lady Eagles in their season-opener Wednesday night in Pine Bluff.
The Golden Lions (1-1-0) put up 32 shots on Ozarks (0-1-0), with eight different Lions scoring during the match. UA-Pine Bluff, which qualified for the NCAA tournament last season, built a 5-0 lead at halftime and then had 18 second half shots to score four more times.
Ozarks goalkeeper Morgan O’Neil had 15 saves.
Ozarks will face Rhodes College September 4 in Memphis.
