Lady Eagles Take Care Of Business Against Rhema

Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles had four players in double figures and never trailed in a 78-51 win over Rhema Bible College Tuesday night.

Ozarks (4-0) had control of the game the entire night, but Rhema (3-4) did get within 43-35 at the 16:44 mark of the second half. Five minutes later, Rhema was still within nine points, but Ozarks quickly established momentum as it went on a 14-2 run over the next four minutes. Lacey Phillips and April Young each hit three-pointers during that stretch and the Lady Eagles let their lead slip below 20 points only once the rest of the way. Ozarks put up 67 shots in the game and converted 29 of those, while Rhema made just 14 field goals on the night. Ozarks held a 41-26 lead at intermission, with nine of the ten players recording points.

Sabrina Goddard had 15 points and nine rebounds to lead Ozarks. Chelsea Glasscock chipped in with 14 points, and Young and Ally Goddard each had 11 points, respectively. Glasscock had four steals and Phillips had nine assists. Glasscock, Young, Phillips and Serena Clokey all had two three-pointers.
