Fulton, Mo.-The Lady Eagles suffered their first loss of the season after dropping a 3-0 decision to Westminster College Saturday in Fulton, Missouri.
After a scoreless first half, Westminster (1-1-1) exploded for three goals in the final 45 minutes of play to secure the match. Ozarks (3-1-0) did force Westminster goalkeeper Ellen Woolsey to make eight saves, but couldn’t find the back of the net. The Lady Eagles posted eight shots and four corner kicks in the match. Brooke Tralmer paced the team with three shots. Codie Freeman made seven saves in goal for Ozarks.
Ozarks will host Lyon College September 11 at 2:00 pm.
