Clarksville, Ark.-Hendrix College pitcher Ashley Halbert allowed just four hits in a pair of wins against the Lady Eagles Tuesday afternoon.
Halbert (3-1) had a no-hitter going through four and one-third innings in a 12-0 game one win and then
opened game two by throwing two and two-third hitless innings in a 11-0 win.
Hendrix (3-3) powered two home runs and recorded a combined 25 hits during the two non-conference games. In game one, Hendrix held a 6-0 lead after three and then added five more runs in the fourth to eventually run-rule the Lady Eagles (7-7). Tabitha Porter (1-2) took the loss. In game two, Hendrix scored four runs in the first, one in the second and three more in the third to hold a commanding 8-0 lead. Colbey Russo (0-1) took the loss.
Ozarks will travel to Pineville, Louisiana, to face Louisiana College March 16-17.
