Clarksville, Ark.-After playing a strong first half, the Lady Eagles allowed four second half goals in a 6-0 loss to Texas-Tyler Thursday in American Southwest Conference play.

Ozarks (1-10-0, 1-5-0 ASC) opened the match with energy and had possession of the ball early on. The Lady Eagles created a pair of opportunities to score in the first half, but came up empty. Texas-Tyler (8-3-0, 5-0-0 ASC) used a number of substitutions to eventually wear down the Lady Eagles. Texas-Tyler scored in the 31st minute on a penalty kick. The Patriots then added another goal in the 39th minute to take the match’s momentum. With a 2-0 lead, Texas-Tyler attacked successfully and scored four goals within a 26 minute span in the second half.

Mary Eoff had five saves in 65 minutes of play in goal. Codie Freeman recorded two saves in 25 minutes.

Ozarks will host LeTourneau University Saturday in ASC action.
