Lady Eagles Spread The Wealth In 5-0 Win

Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles got all five goals from five different players in Sunday's 5-0 win over Concordia University Texas on Sunday in Clarksville.

It didn’t take long for Ozarks (2-0-4, 1-0-1) to score, as Taylor Crutchfield netted her first goal of the year in the 7th minute. Chelsea Coleman set up Crutchfield’s goal. Heather Dryden followed with her team-leading fifth goal of the season in the 18th minute. Olivia Fisher collected an assist on the play. Laura Spruiell added a goal in the 32nd minute off a corner kick. Fisher received the assist. The Lady Eagles would score one more time in the first half after Kristyn Shinn found the back of the net with less than 10 second s to play. Jessica Martin had the assist. Holding a 4-0 advantage, the Lady Eagles got another goal, this time from Coleman in the 56th minute. Shinn and Dryden had assists on the play.

Ozarks out shot Concordia (1-4-0, 0-2-0) 40-1. 12 different Ozarks players had shots. Dryden had a team-high 8. Lori Langman played in all 90 minutes to record her first shutout of the season.

Ozarks will face University of Texas-Dallas on September 22 in Richardson, Texas, in an ASC contest.
