Lady Eagles Rally From Halftime Deficit To Upend LeTourneau

Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles defeated LeTourneau University 68-47 in American Southwest Conference action on Thursday night.

Ozarks (4-20, 4-17) rallied from a 29-24 halftime deficit and out scored LeTourneau (2-22, 2-19) 44-18 in the final twenty minutes of play to gain their fourth conference win of the season. The Lady Eagles also benefited from a strong rebounding night, collecting 54 boards while limiting LeTourneau to 34. With the score tied at 44-44 at the 9:15 mark of the second half, the Lady Eagles went on a 24-3 run to finish the game. The Lady Eagles led 53-47 with 5:39 remaining and then scored 15 consecutive points while holding the visitors to no points. Olivia Fisher scored 17 second half points and ended the contest with 23. Fisher also grabbed 17 rebounds. Lindsey Nietert followed with 13 points and Jeanne Randall added 11 points.
