Clarksville, Ark.-Lori Langman got the game-winner from a penalty kick in the 73rd minute to push Ozarks to a 1-0 win over Louisiana College Saturday in American Southwest Conference play.
Ozarks (2-7-0, 1-2-0) had other chances to score in the first half as it recorded six shots, however, the match remained scoreless after one half. The Lady Eagles posted three shots in the second half, but none more important than Langman’s penalty kick. Louisiana College (0-10-0, 0-3-0) recorded just one shot in the match’s entirety.
Heather Dryden had four shots and Kristi Gordon had three.
Morgan O’Neil was credited with the shutout in goal.
The Lady Eagles will host Hardin-Simmons University October 1 and McMurry University October 3.
