Clarksville, Ark.-The hot-shooting UT-Tyler Patriots picked up a 91-61 victory over the Lady Eagles in American Southwest Conference play on Saturday.

The Lady Eagles fall to 8-13 and 6-10 (ASC) and are in fifth-place in the East division standings. With four conference games remaining, Ozarks trails East Texas Baptist (14-3), UT-Tyler (10-5), Mississippi College (8-8) and UT-Dallas (6-9) in the playoff race. Only the top four teams earn playoff bids, with UT-Tyler ineligible for post-season play this season. Ozarks had trouble slowing down UT-Tyler (13-7, 10-5) as the Patriots held a 51-23 lead at halftime thanks to a 67 shooting percentage from the floor. UT-Tyler held just a 18-15 advantage at the 12:07 mark of the first half after Jeanne Randall hit a three-pointer, but the Patriots then closed out the half by outscoring the Lady Eagles 33-8. Ozarks had trouble getting into the flow of the game as they committed a season-high 34 turnovers. Randall finished with a team-best 19 points. Erica Eneks had 14 and Mandi Carter added 13. Randall had a team-high 7 rebounds. Ozarks will travel to Pineville, Louisiana, to face Louisiana College on February 8, and then on to Clinton, Mississippi, to face Mississippi College on February 10.
