Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles (9-10, 3-3) came up short against ASC East Division leader Mississippi College (15-3, 6-0) in Saturday's game.

Mississippi College’s freshman forward Lacey Palomarez scored 34 points in helping her team secure a 77-63 win over the Lady Eagles. The Lady Eagles trailed 34-26 at intermission while recording 14 first half turnovers. The Lady Eagles would cut the lead to less than ten points on several occasions in the second half, but a strong defensive effort by the visitors denied Ozarks of a rally. Four players scored in double figures for Ozarks with Jenna Corbell leading the way with 15 points. Kristy Watts added 13 points and Mandi Carter had 12 points. Tiffany Villines finished with 11 points. Carter recorded a game-high 13 rebounds.
