Clarksville, Ark.-The U of O Lady Eagles (12-13, 6-6) finished the season third in the American Southwest Conference East Division.

The Lady Eagles ended the season on a positive note winning their final two games of the year. The Lady Eagles picked up a 95-83 victory over UT-Dallas on Saturday in Richardson, Texas. Ozarks put in a dominating performance in the first half making 21-of-29 field goal attempts (72%) and holding a 54-36 lead at intermission. Corbell sank 4-of-7 three-pointers and ended the game with 32 points. Mandi Carter added 20 points. Corbell and Carter each had six rebounds. "It was a nice to finish on a winning note," said head coach Jack Jones. "It was a disappointment not making the playoffs, but I was proud that our girls continued to play hard despite knowing we were already out of the playoff picture." The Lady Eagles will return four starters next season, but will lose seniors Kristy Watts and Melissa Spears. "Both Kristy and Melissa have had a positive influence on our underclassmen, and will continue to influence the future of this program. They are both great leaders and were respected by their teammates."
