Clarksville, Ark.-The U of O softball team dropped three games in the Washington University tournament at St. Louis over the weekend.
The Lady Eagles (14-9, 6-6) fell 7-0 to Washington on March 28, 8-0 to Coe University on March 29 and 8-1 to Maryville on March 30. Shannon Rainbolt and Kelly Bennett each recorded one hit apiece in the first game. Bennett led the Lady Eagles in the second game recording a single and a double. In the third contest, Regan Brown was 3-for-3 and Leslie Foster and Leigh Thompson were both 2-for-3. Pitcher Amanda Luney was named to the all-tournament team. The Lady Eagles will travel to Pineville, Louisiana to face Louisiana College on March 5 and 6 in ASC action.
