Clarksville, Ark.-The U of O softball team dropped four games to East Texas Baptist University over the weekend.
The Lady Eagles (10-6, 2-6) traveled to Marshall, Texas on March 15 and 16 to take on the defending American Southwest Conference East Division champions. The Lady Eagles fell 2-0 and 19-0 in a double-header on March 15. Leigh Thompson and Jennifer Hudlow each recorded one hit apiece in the first game. Leslie Foster was the only player to record a hit in the second game. On March 16, the Lady Eagles lost 2-0 and 18-0. Regan Brown recorded the team’s only hit in the first game and Amanda Luney tallied the lone hit in the second contest. The Lady Eagles will face LeTourneau University on March 22 and 23 in ASC action. Friday’s double-header begins at 2 p.m.
