Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles defeated Central Baptist College 82-67 on November 25, but lost to Hardin Simmons University 71-41 five days later.

The Lady Eagles received another big game from junior forward Jenna Corbell against CBC. Corbell, who scored a career-high 34 points two weeks ago against College of the Ozarks, finished with 33 points and 10 rebounds. Corbell shot 13 of 25 from the field. Freshman Mandi Carter chipped in with 11 points and ten rebounds. Carter also had six assists. Corbell and Carter were two of ten different Ozarks’ players who scored in the game. On November 30, the Lady Eagles looked to knock off a Hardin-Simmons team that defeated them in last season’s American Southwest Conference championship game. The Lady Eagles battled to a 33-25 deficit at halftime, before being outscored 10-2 in the first five minutes of the second half. Corbell scored 11 points and gabbed eight rebounds. Carter had 10 points and eight rebounds. The Lady Eagles shot a season low 26 percent from the field.
