Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles (7-15, 3-8) picked up an impressive 57-39 win against Austin College in American Southwest Conference action on Tuesday.
The Lady Eagles raced out to a 25-14 lead at halftime while holding Austin (7-16, 2-9) to shoot only 14 percent from the field. The Lady Eagles continued to control the second half behind the strong play of Jenna Corbell and Kristy Watts. Corbell led the team with 22 points and Watts scored 15 points in her final game as a Lady Eagle. Austin shot just 22 percent from the field in the game. Farmington native Melissa Spears added 2 points in her final game in an Ozarks uniform. The Lady Eagles and Eagles will travel to Richardson, Texas, to face UT-Dallas on February 22.
