Lady Eagles Come Up Empty

Clarksville, Ark.-After a scoreless first half, Mary Hardin-Baylor's Lateah Lucero scored in the 60th minute to hand Ozarks 1-0 loss on Friday in Belton, Texas.

The Lady Eagles fall to 3-5-4 overall and 2-5-1 in American Southwest Conference play, while the Crusaders improve to 6-6-0 overall and 6-2-0 in league action.

Ozarks out shot Mary Hardin-Baylor 14-6, but was unable to find the back of the net. Ozarks had ten second half shots. Jessalyn Halsted had a team-best five shots. Lori Langman had one save.

Ozarks will continue ASC action on Saturday when they face Howard Payne University at 1:00 p.m. in Brownwood.
