The Department of Education announced a further delay to release batches of FAFSA information (ISIRs) to schools until the first half of March.

Clarksville, Ark.-Mississippi College scored a goal in each half to upend the Lady Eagles 2-0 in American Southwest Conference play Thursday afternoon in Jackson, Mississippi.

Hollye Henderson scored both goals for Mississippi College (4-3-0, 2-1-0), with the first coming in the 13th minute. Kristi Gordon would fire off a pair of shots in the first half, but neither could find the back of the net, keeping the score at 1-0 at halftime.

Henderson all but put the match away with her second goal in the 62nd minute. Henderson’s shot was one of ten taken in the second half by Mississippi College. The Lady Eagles (1-7-0, 0-2-0) didn’t record a shot in the final 45 minutes of play.

Lori Langman stopped four balls in each half to total eight saves in the match.

The Lady Eagles will travel to Pineville, Louisiana, to face Louisiana College this Saturday.
